About Us
Established in 2010.
Founded by Ryzal Ramone. Kaleidoscope Series is a series of homemade/personal holiday videos of me and my friends. It is just for entertainment purposes. This is our personal videos to be shared with the world.
A kaleidoscope is a tube of mirrors containing loose, colored objects such beads or pebbles and bits of glass. As the viewer looks into one end, light entering the other end creates a colorful pattern, due to the reflection off the mirrors. The word "kaleidoscope" is derived from the Ancient Greek καλ(ός) (beauty, beautiful), είδο(ς) (form, shape) and -σκόπιο (tool for examination) – hence "observer of beautiful forms."
Kaleidoscopes operate on the principle of multiple reflection, where several mirrors are attached together. Thus, when everyone plays a part, the footages we've shot will be more interesting. Visit us at Facebook for latest updates.
Rubun and Salih have gone there 2 weeks earlier. Today, Nirmal, Erwin, Bob and myself( Ryzal) getting ready to go to the airport when we receive a bad news about flight cancellation. So, we just proceed to Budget Terminal Singapore. The four of us gathered with our friends and family getting excited to check-in. Guess what? The flight really cancelled.
We have contacts in Tiger Airways so we ask what really happened. Only to know that it’s nothing to do with the engine or whatever technical shit. It’s more on the employment and worker side. It’s really disappointing on how they cover it up in the news.
I don’t know why, but we decide to stay in the airport till the next day. We’re given the next flight around 11 plus by Silk Air. Tiger Airways were supposed to give us accommodation. We’re ain’t staying in Hotel 81, Joo Chiat.
We’re really disappointed with Tiger Airways. Thus, we’re not going to go anywhere by Tiger airways anymore.
The next morning, we’re ready to check-in. We were with a bunch of other people at the Silk Air counter. There’s no information about us on the plane. They said that Tiger Airways have not passed them the details. Well done Tiger Airways. After sometime, we managed to get in. Go to the DFS, and finally, we managed to check-in. We’re going by Silk Air to Chennai, South India.
Journey To India: Day 2
We reach there in the afternoon. Tired but excited. From far, we can see Rubun and Salih waiting for us at the Arrival hall. I’ve passed through the scan machine. The immigration cum security saw our DSLR camera and ask “New one?”. Bob answered yes. Actually he was asking whether it is a newly bought product so that they can do the taxing and stuff. But what Bob was thinking is that they were referring to the model. It’s good that they let us go.
Once we exit from the immigration clearance, all of us we’re welcome by Rubun, Salih and Mr R Manoharan.
Thus, we look for transportation to the nearest bus interchange. We decide to take the Auto. It’s something like Tuk Tuk in Thailand.
Once we’ve reach the interchange, the first thing is to grab our ciggys. And then come these policemen who force us to follow him. Once, we reach the counter, he wanted to fine us about few thousand of rupees which is about few hundred in Singapore dollars. For smoking in public place? You should see how “clean” the place is. Mr Mano did some bargain and in the end, the policemen took a sum of money. Small some but it’s considered a BRIBE!
Then we proceed on a bus, as usual, India, their lies and bribery. This time we’ve got cheated. It was supposed to be an express bus. However, we reach to our destination about more than 10 hours later before we took a car to Rubun’s village. It was really stressful sitting in an shaky old bus, uneven road and a 5 second interval horn. I wish I could cut the horn cable.

Kuala Lumpur: The Story
We took the night flight to KL. Once we're at LCCT Kuala Lumpur, we have to take a bus down to KL City which will take approximately an hour. We’re lucky enough to hop on a bus which sends us near the Hotel. However, we have to wait a little longer because the bus has to go to a few different hotels to alight other passengers.
Although there's only 5 of us, serviced apartment is the best choice for us to enjoy our stay in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed at the Crown Regency Serviced Apartment. It's nearby the twin tower but it don't really matter. It's time for supper nearby and go to sleep.
First stop, Chinatown. The famous Petaling Street, the shopping heaven. What you need is just cash and a good bargain skill. Almost anything you can find here.
As for me, unauthentic New Era Caps. It's like about RM23 per cap which is equivalent to S$10. It's not that we don't wanna support the originals, but it's good to have different designs and colors for different occasions.
Next stop, our childhood memories. Sadly it's extinct in Singapore. What a waste. A place we'll never ever miss especially when we're in KL. A&W is the rare shit. So, we had our lunch. Coney Dogs, Fish Burger, Curly Fries, Ice-cream Waffles and the Authentic A&W Root Beer Float. Not Forgeting Double Scoop. It's an awesome feeling when you get to try this once in a while, seriously.
After a good lunch, we proceed to Berjaya Times Square. It's a very big shopping mall. A lot of shops here and a few storeys high. It also have its own indoor theme park. What a beauty. But we only shop around, get a few t-shirts, hoodie etc.

When the night comes, KL city will be lighted up with colours of lights. From the apartment, we could hear the sound of bass from the clubs nearby. We walk along Jalan P Ramlee. This is where the nightlife begins. So, we walked slowly to the petronas twin tower. Nice view from below.
